grunge was the seattle explosion of music...flannel shirts,cut off baggy ass jeans, boots. I was 22 when it all happened-didn't realize I was grunge then-just livin' life. It was an awesome time

I saw them in New Orleans in '92 and this was what it was like..raw and crazy energy. I was 22 during the grunge era and man what a time that was. the best in my life.

Grunge is an off-shoot of Alternative, now, u could argue that Alternative is an offshoot of Rock, but everything bloody is, it's Alternative, which has evovled into its own archi-type, if u want to argue about it, Nu-metal, Industrial, even White Rap is an offshoot of rock, even traditional rap is, so, instead of being that stupid, there r different archi-types, the "super" archi-type if u will is called Rock, but, rlly no bad is purely "rock" its hard-rock etc
