one of the greatest boxers of all time yes .Only boxer probably better than him was sugar ray robinson,but the hero some people make him out to be he definatly wasnt,as he use to cheat on his wifes, a true hero lives perfect in and out of the ring and sadly ali wasnt this as a consequence of his love for women

I agree with this statement (believe it or not) SRR was the GREATEST all round fighter of all time and Ali has said that himself. Ali was the greatest HEAVYWEIGHT of all time.

Ali copied Ray's footwork! When Ali's corner would yell Sugar Ray! It meant dance. Sugar Ray could dance all night long and just as well as Ali. I mean seriously make sure u know your facts before commenting. Go to the Liston fight fight.The I shook up the world one and there he is standing next to Ali. He and Ali were different weights so there would be no fight. So of course he couldn't "fuck wit Ali" nor was that ever an option. sigh!

sugar ray didnt have shit on ali, ali had speed, footwork, and strength, then on top of that, he didnt even throw a guard up most of tha time, leavin hiself open,and he still was a beast *RESPONSE* Sugar Ray Robinson is/was Ali's idol. Wiki it silly..everybody else seems to!

no i meant meant robinson, yes he was a great fighter, he was tha greatest pound for pound fighter ali even said that, but sugar ray didn't have enuff footwork for ali, he was to slow on his feet, and on top of all that ali was way to fast in his prime, yall jus dnt get it, footwork is wat really wins a fight, when SRR fought it was back in tha 40's,50's and a lil bit of tha 60's, ali had fought way better opponents then SRR, sugar was still a beast, but he couldn't fuck wit ali
