yes i went to nago. i cant remember if that's the one by the military base. the sea in naha was quite murky so i couldn't snorkel there so i had to go to the west. did you go to the okinawa aquarium?

i live in okinawa and see those snake things a lot. but i heard they dont bite much because their mouth is really small

they're actually not as dangerous to people as all that, their mouths are too small to bite you on the arm or foot. if it were a male, it'd have to bite you on the finger or between the fingers. so don't grab them.

i went snorkelling in okinawa and a sea snake was swimming underneath me. scared the hell out of me.
