Out of body experience, OBE or OOBE, can occur naturally and spontaneously during sleep. This is the story of my first out of body experience (OOBE / OBE) which occurred when I was 10 years old. This OOBE inspired me to look deeply into the nature of our perception of "reality" and spurred on my interest in human potential, psychology and behavior.
