Carmella says goodbye to the love of her life, Marco Silvani, in a moving funeral ceremony and honours his loving memory with the beautiful lyrics of Amazing Grace. Home from the funeral, Oliver consumed by guilt, vows to stand by Carmella until she has healed and temporarily moves in to help ease the burden. However, Carmella's longing for comfort places her in an intimate situation with Oliver, causing her more anguish and despair over the loss of her husband. Toadie tries to face the awful truth that Callum may be the firebug as Jay sets up the trap to frame the little guy. Meanwhile, after the funeral Jay takes the opportunity while emotions are running high to lure Steph deeper in to his dangerous world. Miranda and Steve catch Bridget and Declan getting too close for comfort and try to set some limits to the new relationship, asking Bridget to slow down. However, Bridget is certain nothing and nobody will get in the way of true love's course and stands her ground, refusing to take things slowly.
