WSOR passenger extra with presidential Es

Today was the day. At least that's what the Wisconsin and Southern board on the web said. The E9s were out and about. Bust out of the office early PM - to the yard. Oh good. They're not back yet. Zig-zag upstream for the intercept. Camera ought to be good to go, the good batteries are in. Out in the country one of the 'zigs' gets way too long. Better turn around. RATS! They're coming! Just enough time to throw the car into the ditch and try a quick shoot. More RATS, camera is dead! The good batteries were not in. Back on the road, onto a shortcut around town. "Road closed" it says. Not today, I guess. Next intercept barely achieved. Out of the car, start recording: "Memory card full". !@#$!%@^#%@!!. Double RATS! Only one possible location left before the train is back home. Another drive at the limits. Fortunately an SD20-2 and GP38 shuffle around and delay the special. Not a total loss after all....but I should definitely get things better organized.
